steel spring isolators with integrated viscous dampers are predominately used to support plants and machines whose excitation frequency exceeds approx. 3 Hz, or which cause impulse excitation. Viscous dampers are particularly relevant for this latter application. The natural frequencies of our steel spring isolator series range between 1.8 Hz und 6 Hz.
Apart from the standard series, we also manufacture isolators and dampers tailored to suit your application. This is where we also employ isolators and dampers made from stainless steel.
With our in-house test-lab certified by the German Technical Supervisory Association (TÜV), we are able to verify the developed products and carry out fatigue testing.
We manufacture four standard series of steel spring isolators, also deliverable at short notice. Our predominantly automated manufacturing process enables us to offer high-quality products with optimum price-performance ratio.
Standard series:
P series
UPM series
UbPl series
SSI series
Corrosion protection:
All steel spring isolator series come already primed and varnished with a two-component lacquer. As an option, all steel casings are available in galvanized or spray-galvanized finish. Similarly, dirt and dust guards are available for virtually all isolators. The spiral springs have been powder coated and coated with cataphoritic dip priming for protection against corrosion.
Applications:
Test rig support with high frequency excitation
Pressing and punching machines with press loads ranging from 500 KN to 20 MN
Forging hammers
Shredder plants
Forging presses
Turbines
Pumps and ventilators
Coal mills
Air separators
Roll grinding machines
Centrifugal casting machines (in combination with air springs)
Crushers
Vibration damping in buildings (room-in-room solution)
Test rigs for engines and gear units
Chassis roller dynos
