Pit covers form the upper closure for test rigs and provide the transition from building to test rig. Pit covers are used, for example, to cover 4-/7 post test stands, roller/chassis dynamometers, tilt test rigs for engine and gear testing and full vehicle testing, vibration foundations with clamping plates, multi-axial shaking tables, and many more.

The steel construction is adapted to suit the requirements of the individual building. The cover itself is made of hot-dip galvanized non-slip steel floor plates or grating, providing a non-slip surface.

Special designs made to, for example, temporarily increase workspace, are fitted with hydraulically controlled, folding pit covers. Drive-on roller shutters, are included in our portfolio as standard.
